Since 2001 Drewkom company is professionally drying fire wood: birch, beech, oak, hornbeam and alder tree. We offer high quality fire wood, which humidity does not exceed 20-25 per cent. This is the type which would need two years seasoning in certain, appropriate conditions in order to get the right amount of water in its structure.
We deliver such dry wood thanks to modern and innovative technology based on vacuum drying in temperatures 120 - 130 ° C (single cycle of drying 150 mp of wood amounts to about 3 days) which enables full evaporation of the damp from the wood.
Since the fireplace is intended for the heating, rather than for drying wood, we are promoting the best quality of our products assuring that after a few years of burning it, you will not have to repair the fireplace. Dry wood will solve the problem of storing and seasoning large quantity of humid wood (will never be as soaked as humid wood because water will not sink into it). It will also guarantee good warming of the house and better amortization of the chimney (the damp and juices from hardwood wood are ruining steel elements of the chimney and chimney inserts).
Wood offered by us is particularly recommended for chimney inserts and standalone stoves.
